New Ranks Raider & Proven
Hey Guys and gals, Swave here,
Just letting you know what the deal is with the two new ranks in the guild, and how the existing ranks work, so I'm going to list the ranks and what is needed to hit em.
Recruit: basically talked someone into letting you into the guild, pretty self explanatory. usually lasts a couple weeks unless you're one of those difficult people
Soldier: basic rank of WWOT, we trust you enough to let you have GB access, you're officially one of us. This is the normal rank of the average guildie.
Veteran: You have been around for a while with a good track record, do your part for the guild and try and make it a better place for everyone. Idiots need not apply for Vet status.
Now for the new stuff
Raider: You are committed to higher end game play, you have the appropriate gear for your toon and show up ready to roll, you pay attention to the details like enchants, jems, etc and are geared to run the level of stuff we're getting into. One requirement is that you run at least 2 heroic level or higher runs a week with guild members not counting any guild Kara or ZA runs, this is helping yourself and other guildies get geared up and shows commitment to the WWOT team. Raiders will have first crack at any Kara or higher level runs. We're trying to form a professional and well equipped raiding team going into WotLK. Anyone trying to achieve the Raider title will be gear checked and it will be discussed amongst the officers.
Proven: The title of Proven has nothing to do with raiding, it's about an attitude. People who are committed to the well being of the guild, helping guildies out whenever possible, basically going way above and beyond the call of duty to help a fellow guildie out will have a shot at this title. Proven members have reached the highest honor available in the guild. It is not about throwing junk in the gb, or jumping through hoops for a short while, we're looking for an attitude and way of game play that proves that the person has truly amazing character. Once again, cannot simply do a couple things to qualify, anyone up for the Proven title will have to make it past the committee of officers before being promoted to this level.
If anyone has any problem with this, please send all complaints to Ferdinan
Yours truly, Swave
